Project: Sharondale Court

This is a good opportunity to share my own personal landscape with you. Being in the industry, I am always experimenting and changing things around. I have photographs from the last 16 years of my landscape transformations. It's been a slow process since I am usually working on client's landscapes. One of these days my landscape will be "just right" and maybe I will leave it alone, relax and enjoy it.

  • The original house/landscape. I had seeded the lawn. This shows new bed areas marked and grass sprayed to kill.

  • I had previously created a small shade garden on the North side of the house, but this will change dramatically

  • This was my lawn after I renovated it just after moving in. It came in great!

  • The spray has done it's job killing the grass in the new bed areas. The turf area is defined with a deep shovel cut edge.

  • I started turning the new bed areas with a shovel in preparation for adding soil amendments and tilling.
